Installing and updating
How do I install the theme?
Unzip the package you downloaded. In your Shopify admin go to Online Store → Themes → Add theme → Upload zip file and choose noorvi-1.0.0.zip, the theme file inside the package. Uploading the full package gives a "missing template" error.
How do I update to a new version?
Upload the new version as a separate theme. It appears in your theme library next to the old one. Copy your settings across in the theme editor, check the preview, then publish. Your old theme stays untouched until you remove it.
Will updating remove my customisations?
Settings you made in the theme editor belong to the copy you edited. A newly uploaded version starts with default settings, so set it up before publishing. Code changes you made yourself are not carried over.
Setting up
Why are my colour options shown as text instead of swatches?
Swatches are shown for options named Color or Colour. Either connect the option to the Color category metafield in the product admin, or add a line for each colour under Theme settings → Color swatches, for example Sage: #9CAF88. The name must match the option value.
How do I add images to the mega menu?
In the theme editor select the Header section and click Add block → Mega menu image. In the Menu item field type the exact title of the top-level menu item, then choose an image and link. That menu item needs at least one sub-item.
Why do I not see any filters on collection pages?
Filters come from Shopify. Install the free Shopify Search & Discovery app and choose which filters to show. They then appear in the sidebar automatically.
How does the wishlist work?
The wishlist is stored in each visitor's browser, so it needs no app and no customer account. Visitors see it in a drawer opened from the heart icon in the header. You can switch it off under Theme settings → Wishlist.
How do I change the wording or translate the theme?
Go to Online Store → Themes → … → Edit default theme content. Every piece of storefront text can be changed there.
Licence and support
What does support cover?
Help with installing and setting up the theme, and fixes for bugs in the theme itself. Custom design or development work, and problems caused by third-party apps or your own code changes, are outside support.
Can I use the theme on more than one store?
One regular licence covers one store. You need a separate licence for each additional store.
Are the demo images included?
No. The photographs in the live preview are for demonstration only. The theme shows placeholder illustrations until you add your own images.
How quickly do you reply?
Within two working days. Tickets with a store address and a screenshot are usually solved in the first reply.
